The education sector is extraordinarily complex and education professionals come from a diverse range of backgrounds and have an even broader range of aims. In order for any education professional to be effective, they need appropriate and relevant training.
John has worked on designing and delivering effective training for education professionals. From classroom teachers to professional tutors, in the UK and internationally, John can assist with the development of effective and engaging training, utilising the expertise of external specialists where required.
As well as his personal experience in teaching and both small group/individual tuition, John has worked on a number of projects to provide support to educators including: character education programme design and delivery in schools, professional tutor training programmes, international business development and CPD/seminar delivery on behalf of The Tutors’ Association. John holds a PGCE with distinction and specialises in the practical application of educational theory and evidence, especially schema theory and cognitive load theory.
